Scholarships and Re-Educational Grants
We firmly believe that education and employment are absolutely vital parts of a permanent solution to poverty in Southern California and elsewhere.
Real knowledge is life-changing Information, Information is Personal Power, and Power is Freedom over all Things in Life, you want to change for the better. We believe that knowledge is power and with this new strength people can change their personal environment, present circumstances, economic status, and find harmony in their own personal lives.
To support this core belief, World Charities of America grants scholarships to promising, college-bound students from low-income families. Scholarship funds can be used to defray the cost of tuition or books, and other school supplies.
Similarly, single parents and/or homeless people wanting a second chance to get back in the work force again and interested in going back to school to acquire new job skills are also eligible to receive World Charities of America support in the form of educational grants.
Grant money can be used to defray the cost of tuition, books, other school supplies, or childcare during scheduled class meeting times.
